This beautiful baby girl is one of our baby’s first year clients. I will be there to capture all of her milestones in her first year. I loved incorporating mom’s wedding sari into her newborn photos. She’s such a beautiful baby girl and she did such a great job with her newborn photos. I look forward to her 6 month session!
This family is one of our Baby’s First Year milestone clients. That means they pre-purchased one of our special baby’s first year packages. A year ago, I did this little man’s newborn photos, then we did an outdoor 6 month session, and now they are back for their son’s cake smash photo session. Big brother was finally getting into the photos by the 3rd session.
We did a great Winnie The Pooh themed cake smash session for this little guy. I can’t say that he touched the cake too much, but we still had a great time! Mom, dad and big brother got a bit messy! I try to warn people to bring a change of clothes if we do family sessions ahead of time, otherwise your fancy clothes will get covered in cake! This beautiful little girl was so much fun for her milestone session! Cake smash photos can often be tough. It’s not always easy to get 1 year olds to smile at photo session, or to get into the cake. But this little girl did amazing. She was all smiles for the entire photo shoot! This has to be one of my favourite cake smash sessions. It went by so quickly because she was so happy and so much fun!!! Of course another beautiful cake from Leah’s Cake Creations! I’m so thankful to have such stunning cakes for my cake smash sessions.
I met this family around a year ago when I did their first daughters newborn photos. It was such a pleasure working with them, and her Angelina Jolie lips made her stand out from all the other newborns I’ve photographed with. I was so happy to hear they were pregnant with number 2!! And we had such a great time at their maternity photos.
I’m so happy to be doing more maternity sessions outdoors, and their little girl was such a ham when we could get her to cooperate! It was such a pleasure to do their newborn photos for daughter #2. Due to a celestial connection I did a very different set up then usual and incorporated a star theme just for them. We also went back outside to recreate their maternity photos at the same location with the newborn. It was a little chilly, but loved the baby and big sister photos we managed to capture! I was so happy with all of their newborn and maternity, but how can you not with such a beautiful family!
This little girl is another one of our returning newborn clients, who came back for a cake smash session. Its so much fun to see how much she had changed over the year from her newborn photos to 1 year photos. I love capturing such important milestones, and we offer a loyalty client discount, as we really appreciate having such great clients that come back!

We had a tough time keeping the hair out of this little girls eyes, but when we finally did her smile lit up the room! She enjoyed the beautiful cake from Leah’s Cake Creations, and knocked it right off the cake stand. But that didn’t stop her, she just kept eating her fantastic cake! It was a great cake smash session, and her pre smash photos were in some stunning little dresses as well as her cute Disney themed tutu!!
Mom and Dad may look familiar. I had the honour of doing their maternity session, at which dad proposed!!! It was so much fun to witness this, and she had no idea! She was just expecting maternity photos. So happy for this family. And it was a pleasure to capture their newborn photos for this lovely little girl. She was such a sweet heart. I love it when parents bring in personal or sentimental items to include in a photo session. And its always fun the days I get a new prop for newborn photos! I had a great time with this beautiful family and it was such an honour to capture both their photo sessions for these big milestones.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with these 2 beautiful sisters since they were just little. They are so talented and have grown into beautiful young women. We always have so much fun at their year end photo days.
They both have great expressions and are fantastic dancers. Their poses are always so creative. So it was a pleasure to do this creative session and headshots for them! We captured some amazing dance photos, from hip hop photos, to ballet photos. Their headshot photos are just stunning. I look forward to working with them again, as mom loved these dance photos so much she said she wants to do an outdoor session in the summer!
I love creative dance sessions in studio or outdoors! I’m so grateful to the Richmond Academy of Dance for allowing me to build such a great relationship with their talented dancers. I can’t wait to see what we do next!

This handsome little guy did an awesome job at his session. I’ve known mama for years, as she is the owner of Cherish Childbirth, and we were both part of Vancouver Family Roots non profit organization, where we raised money together for so many great causes.. So I was excited when I got the opportunity to do photos of her own son!
Due to some diet restrictions mom made the cake herself, but since it was smaller then our usual cake smash large cupcakes it was so much fun watching him pick it up, and take bites out of it. He had the best faces too! This cake smash session was extra messy because the icing was different then what we normally use. Since it was grain free and dairy free, I actually got to try some myself!
Mom did a great job on his cake for his photo session. He was so messy a bath was in order after! (We offer bath sessions after the cake smash for those that request it.) This little man was so adorable for all his photos, full of smiles and great faces! He’s a photographer’s dream. Not all cake smash sessions go this well, but he really loved the special cake mom made for his photos.
I’ve known this couple forever!! Dad was good friends with my brother when we were growing up in Richmond B.C. Its been so great to stay connected for all these years and to see them go from teenage sweethearts to parents of two rambunctious, great boys! These two are always full of energy! I’ve done newborn photos, Christmas photos and now it’s become annual family fall photos for this clan! Its so fun to capture all the moments at our photo sessions of these boys, both good and bad. Boys will definitely be boys with these two – they give new meaning to blood, sweat and tears!
I met this family when their oldest daughter was just a baby! We’ve done so many sessions over the years, mini sessions, newborn sessions, family sessions, Christmas photos! It’s been great watching the family grow from 3 to 5! And to watch these kids grow! This family session was so much fun, as they always are with this crew – these kids have so much character! There were so many great photos, from this annual family session, and it was a beautiful sunny day!!! Blackie Spit at Crescent beach is always a stunning location for family photos. It was so warm out that day it was hard to believe it was supposed to be a fall family photo session!
